Our Story
Queensland Skin and Laser was founded with a clear vision: to provide a holistic approach to skin care, blending medical expertise with cutting-edge cosmetic treatments. With a background in skin cancer detection and cosmetic dermatology, Dr Mark Chernoff saw a growing need for a clinic that could address a wide range of skin concerns under one roof. Meet Dr Mark Chernoff

General Practitioner, Skin Cancer Physician
Dr Mark Chernoff completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Physiology before completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 2010. He began his postgraduate career at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne where he concentrated on general surgery and plastic surgery. He has since changed the scope of his practice gaining experience in Emergency Medicine in rural NSW, and obtaining fellowships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. He is a Visiting Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine and a GP Surgeon in rural NSW.
Dr Mark has extensive skin cancer surgical experience, performing over 500 surgical skin procedures per year. He is a mentor for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, a supervisor for the Rural Doctors’ Network of NSW, and a practice accreditation surveyor for A
