Enhance Your Skin’s Appearance with Advanced RF Microneedling Solutions
Achieving a refreshed skin appearance doesn’t have to involve invasive procedures. Radio Frequency Microneedling (RF Microneedling) is a minimally invasive treatment designed to improve skin quality by targeting specific concerns such as acne scars, sagging skin and skin laxity.
Using advanced technology, this treatment combines the benefits of microneedling with radiofrequency energy to promote collagen and elastin production within the deeper layers of the skin. Whether addressing acne scarring, sun damage, or enlarged pores, RF Microneedling provides a versatile and effective solution for a variety of skin conditions, tailored to your skin type and goals.
What is Radio Frequency Microneedling?
Radio Frequency Microneedling, or RF Microneedling, is a cosmetic treatment that combines traditional microneedling with the delivery of controlled radio frequency energy. The process involves creating microchannels in the upper layer of the skin while delivering RF energy into the deeper layers. This stimulates natural collagen and elastin production, promoting skin tightening and rejuvenation.
Achieve smoother skin and address concerns like sagging skin and enlarged pores with the targeted power of Radio Frequency Microneedling.
What Areas Can Be Treated?
RF Microneedling can be used on various areas to address different skin conditions, including:
- Face and neck (to target fine lines, wrinkles and skin laxity)
- Acne scars and stretch marks on the body
- Enlarged pores and uneven skin texture
- Areas affected by post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Treatment areas experiencing sagging skin or sun damage
What Are the Benefits of
RF Microneedling?
Radio Frequency Microneedling offers a range of benefits for skin rejuvenation and scar reduction, such as:
- Improving the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks
- Reducing enlarged pores and refining skin texture
- Enhancing skin tightening through collagen induction therapy
- Supporting natural collagen and elastin production for long-term improvements
- Treating a variety of skin types and addressing different skin conditions

Am I a Good Candidate for RF Microneedling?
This treatment is suitable for individuals looking to improve skin quality, address specific concerns such as acne scarring or skin laxity and promote natural collagen production. During your consultation, a personalised treatment plan will be developed based on your skin type, treatment area and desired outcomes.
How Does RF Microneedling Work?
The RF Microneedling procedure combines two technologies: microneedling to create controlled microchannels in the upper layer of the skin and radio frequency energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the deeper layers. The fractional RF needling device delivers the treatment in a targeted manner, ensuring precision for optimal results in scar reduction, skin tightening and overall skin rejuvenation.
Treatment at
Queensland Skin and Laser
Consultation
Your journey begins with a detailed consultation where your concerns, skin type and goals are carefully assessed. This allows for the creation of a personalised plan tailored to your needs, ensuring an effective treatment for concerns such as acne scarring, sagging skin, or enlarged pores.
Procedure
During the procedure, a topical anaesthetic is applied for comfort. The RF Microneedling device delivers fractional RF energy into the treatment area, targeting both the upper layer and deeper layers of the skin. This process stimulates collagen and elastin production, supporting improvements in skin laxity and overall quality.
Results
Initial results are often visible within a few weeks, with improvements continuing as collagen production increases over time. Results vary depending on the skin type and treatment area, but a course of sessions may be recommended for optimal outcomes in reducing acne scars, stretch marks, or other skin concerns.
Recovery
Recovery from RF Microneedling is minimal. Some clients may experience mild redness or swelling immediately after the procedure, which typically resolves within a few days. Sun exposure should be avoided during the healing process and a tailored aftercare plan will be provided to optimise results.
Possible Risks or Side Effects
RF Microneedling is generally well-tolerated; however, some potential risks or side effects include:
- Temporary redness or swelling of the treatment area
- Mild skin irritation or dryness as the skin heals
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in rare cases, particularly in certain skin types
How Much Does RF Microneedling Cost?
The cost of RF Microneedling varies depending on the treatment area, number of sessions and individual goals. During your consultation, a tailored cost plan will be provided, ensuring transparency and alignment with your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What skin concerns can RF Microneedling address?
RF Microneedling is effective for a variety of skin concerns, including acne scars, sagging skin, enlarged pores, stretch marks and overall skin laxity. It can also help improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of sun damage and support skin rejuvenation.
How does RF Microneedling differ from traditional microneedling?
While traditional microneedling creates microchannels on the skin’s surface, RF Microneedling adds the benefit of radio frequency energy, which penetrates the deeper layers of the skin. This stimulates collagen and elastin production more effectively, enhancing skin tightening and overall results.
Is RF Microneedling suitable for all skin types?
Yes, RF Microneedling is designed to be safe and effective for a range of skin types. During your consultation, your skin type and specific concerns will be assessed to ensure the treatment is tailored to your needs.
How many RF Microneedling sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on your skin concerns and treatment goals. While some improvements may be noticeable after one session, a series of treatments is often recommended for the best results, especially for concerns like acne scarring or stretch marks.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
