Our Story
Queensland Skin and Laser was founded by Dr Mark Chernoff with a clear vision: to provide a holistic approach to skin care, combining medical expertise, advanced technology and personalised treatment under one roof. With a background in skin cancer detection and treatment, as well as cosmetic and laser medicine, Dr Mark recognised the need for a clinic that could provide comprehensive care for a wide range of skin concerns. From diagnosing and treating skin conditions to offering advanced laser and cosmetic treatments, our focus has always been on understanding each patient and developing an approach that is right for them.
As a family-owned and operated clinic, we have built a close-knit team who have been part of Queensland Skin and Laser since the clinic was established in 2025. We value the relationships we have built with our patients and the continuity of care that comes from having a team who genuinely know them, their skin and their individual needs.
Located in Spring Hill, our clinic provides a welcoming, modern environment where patients can access a broad range of medical, laser and skin treatments. We continually develop our skills, knowledge and technology to ensure our approach keeps evolving alongside advances in skin care and treatment.

Meet Dr Mark Chernoff
BSC (EXHP), MBBS (MELB), FRACGP, FACRRM, CFTP
Dr Mark Chernoff is the principal doctor at Queensland Skin and Laser. He has clinical interests in skin cancer medicine and surgery, laser and light-based treatments, cosmetic mole removal, and hair restoration. With over 12 years of experience diagnosing and treating skin cancer, including surgical removal of skin cancers, his early surgical training and experience in plastic surgery complement his meticulous approach to treatment, with a focus on achieving the best possible clinical and cosmetic outcomes. Dr Chernoff has also undertaken extensive additional education and advanced training in hair restoration, with a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss, medical hair restoration, and hair transplant surgery.
Dr Chernoff provides comprehensive skin cancer checks, cosmetic mole removal, photodynamic therapy (PDT), hair restoration, and advanced laser treatments for concerns including pigmentation, sun damage, acne scarring, vascular lesions, scar revision and skin rejuvenation. He continues to work in Emergency Medicine and is actively involved in medical education, supervising the next generation of general practitioners and rural doctors.
