Rehydrate and replenish with
IV infusions in Brisbane
Learn more about the benefits of vitamin infusions
Feeling fatigued, dehydrated, or low in energy? Stress, illness, and a busy lifestyle can leave your body depleted of essential nutrients. IV and vitamin infusions in Brisbane provide targeted nutrients and fluids that may help restore hydration, support immune functions, nourish the skin, and boost energy levels. By delivering nutrients directly to the bloodstream, IV infusions allow your body to access vitamins and minerals more effectively than oral supplements.
At Queensland Skin and Laser in Brisbane, our medical team provides IV infusions with your safety as our priority – every treatment is carried out under medical supervision.
What ARE IV INFUSIONS?
IV (intravenous) infusions are a method of delivering vitamins, minerals, and fluids directly into your bloodstream through a small cannula. Unlike oral supplements, which must pass through your digestive system, IV infusions bypass the gut entirely. This allows nutrients to enter your blood quickly and at higher concentrations, so your body can use them more efficiently.
Your body relies on nutrients such as vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, magnesium, zinc, and amino acids for a range of biological processes: from energy production in your cells to supporting immune function and maintaining healthy skin. When delivered via IV, these nutrients are immediately available to your cells, helping support hydration, recovery, and overall wellness.
At Queensland Skin and Laser, we deliver medically supervised IV therapy in a clinical setting, which is designed to be safe, controlled, and comfortable, giving you access to nutrients in a way that complements a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
BENEFITS of IV INfusions
Many people explore IV infusions as a way to support their body’s recovery, hydration, and overall wellness. When delivered under medical supervision, vitamin infusions in Brisbane may provide several potential benefits, depending on your individual needs.
- Direct delivery of nutrients to the bloodstream
- Support for hydration and recovery
- Reduced feelings of tiredness and fatigue
- Immune system support
- General wellness support
Individual results vary. Vitamin infusions are not a replacement for a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet, or medical treatment.
Types of IV INFUSIONS BRisbane
Explore IV and vitamin infusions at Queensland Skin & Laser
Different IV infusions meet a range of health and lifestyle needs. At our Spring Hill clinic, we provide IV vitamin infusions designed to support hydration, energy, immune health, and skin vitality. Your clinician will guide you in choosing the most suitable option.
Hydration
IV infusions deliver fluids and electrolytes directly into the bloodstream, helping your body restore balance faster than oral fluids alone. Proper hydration supports circulation, nutrient transport, and overall organ function, helping you feel revitalised and ready for anything.
Energy
Infusions containing B vitamins, magnesium, and amino acids help support energy metabolism, assisting your body in converting food into usable energy. While individual responses vary, some people notice reduced fatigue and improved vitality following medically supervised IV therapy.
Immune Health
Nutrients such as vitamin C, zinc, and antioxidants in vitamin infusions may help support your immune system. While IV infusions are not a treatment or cure for illness, medically supervised nutrient support can complement a healthy lifestyle, particularly during periods of stress or recovery from illness.
Skin Health
IV vitamin infusions can include nutrients like vitamin C, biotin, and other antioxidants that play a role in skin health. By supporting nutrient availability and hydration, infusions may help your skin look and feel nourished, radiant, and refreshed.
Book a Consultation to Find Out How an IV or Vitamin Infusion Can Benefit You
Am I a Suitable Candidate
for IV or Vitamin Infusion?
Not everyone is suitable for IV or vitamin infusions, which is why a medical consultation is essential before treatment. Our clinicians assess your overall health, medical history, current medications, and specific wellness goals to determine whether an infusion is appropriate for you.
IV infusions may be considered for people who:
- Experience fatigue or low energy that isn’t explained by underlying medical conditions
- Struggle with dehydration due to illness, exercise, or busy lifestyles
- Want to support immune health during periods of stress or recovery
- Seek nutrient support for skin wellness
- Are looking for a boost in overall wellbeing under medical supervision
You may not be suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain chronic medical conditions, or take medications that could interact with high-dose vitamins or minerals. During your consult, your clinician will discuss any potential risks and tailor an infusion plan that is safe and appropriate for you.
Ultimately, suitability is determined on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that each infusion is both safe and aligned with your personal wellness goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
about IV INFUSIONS BRISBANE
What does an IV infusion session involve?
During your consultation, we assess your medical history and goals. If IV infusions are appropriate, we prepare a custom blend of vitamins, minerals, and fluids. You receive the infusion via a small cannula in a clinical setting. Most sessions last 30–60 minutes. After the infusion, we monitor you briefly and discuss aftercare.
Are IV infusions safe, and what are the possible risks or side effects?
When performed by qualified medical staff, IV infusions are generally safe. Possible side effects include bruising or pain at the IV site, mild infection risk, temporary light-headedness, nausea, or discomfort, allergic reactions are rare but possible. We follow safety protocols, maintain clean equipment, and monitor you during and after treatment. We always assess whether you are a good candidate.
How often should I get IV infusions?
There’s no “one-size-fits-all” schedule. Some people come in occasionally (e.g. for recovery, after illness, big events), others use infusions regularly to maintain wellness. Your clinician will suggest what frequency (such as bi-weekly or monthly) based on your health, goals, and response to treatment.
What preparation is needed before a vitamin infusion?
To make your session comfortable and safe: eat a light meal beforehand (unless advised otherwise), stay well-hydrated, bring a list of current medications and medical history, and avoid alcohol or other dehydrating substances before treatment.
Will my health insurance or Medicare cover vitamin infusions?
In many cases, cosmetic or wellness-style vitamin infusions are not covered by Medicare or private insurance unless they are part of a medical treatment prescribed for diagnosed deficiencies or conditions. If the infusion treats a medical condition and is supervised by a doctor, there may be rebates. Always check with us and with your provider beforehand.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
